Kindergarten Graduation

I'm writing this for a second time because for some reason it was never saved the first time.  What a bummer.  Etta wasn't able to go to school Monday or Tuesday because she was unable to use crutches with her cast and we were waiting for a walker to be delivered.  It's amazing how long it takes to coordinate hospital, insurance, and a medical supply company.  It was taking so long I went and found the company that had it in stock and scheduled the delivery.  Makes me feel like I should go back to work to help people get things done!
Wednesday she was able to go back to school and it was her last full day of school.  A good bento was in order to finish out the school year.  Surely some of you wouldn't appreciate the items in this lunch box but I know Etta did.  She had a great day since all of her friends from school signed her cast and gave her lots of attention.
Rice with turkey, cheese, and covered in nori with a special note.
Cause for celebration, Daddy dropped her off at school today.
The full day kindergartners did their graduation together.  Both classes came in dancing and signing to riding a bus to school.  Not familiar with it, but it was cute!  Etta was in the back of her class since she is a little slow now.

Each of the students took a turn at the microphone saying their name and what they want to be when they grow up.  For the last several months Etta has said she wants to be an artist when she grows up.

First Grade First Grade!
I have two other videos I've tried getting on this blog to no avail so I opted to put them on facebook.  So, if you want to see the Tooty Ta dance, then go to facebook.  Here's a few pictures below.

Even Eric joined in the Tooty Ta.
After graduation the kids got cake, drinks, and a big binder of their artwork for the year.  We said our final goodbyes in the classroom and there were several misty eyes.  Not mine, I was too busy with the cameras to get sentimental. Here's Etta with two friends from class, Cassandra and McKenna.  See you next year Mrs Kaylor when Chloe tries to break your will to teach Kindergarten!
