Today marks an important day in the girls' lives. Etta is starting kindergarten at Kitty Ward Elementary and Chloe is doing preschool and speech therapy there as well. Etta is full day and Chloe is half day so I only need to make one packed lunch each day. Of course I wanted to have something special for Etta's first day so I went Japanese. Figured that may shock some of her classmates and teacher.
Wakame onigiri made to look like a frog, quail egg that has a bear imprint, potatoes, broccoli, and blueberries.
The girls are dressed and ready to go. Eric came with us today so we biked to school to avoid the traffic.
Chloe coming home on the bus. She was the last one on and she gets dropped off at the door. She feels like such a big girl.Chloe is raving about school! She says she likes her teacher and made some new friends. Of course she can't remember any names yet, but it has only been one day. We'll be leaving in a few hours to get Etta. Hope she enjoyed her day too.
