Carving Pumpkins

Grandma picked up a carving kit for the kids, which really meant a kit for the adults. The girls picked out their pumpkin and which design they wanted and grandma and I got to work. Etta picked a bat and Chloe picked an owl.

Man, that was a lot of work! The two little blades included in the kit were bent up and in sad shape by the time we finished. Both of these designs were a 2 out of 5 on the difficulty scale. I can't imagine doing some of the harder ones. Maybe Eric will take a shot at one of those next year!
